5 Tips for HVAC, Plumbing, and Electrical Spring Marketing

During the shoulder season when things slow down in your HVAC, plumbing, or electrical business, there are several ways you can use the time to prepare for when things get busy again. These actions help you promote lead generation, customer retention, and revenue.

1. Schedule Spring Air Conditioning Maintenance

Take advantage of any free time your office team may have and call your customers to schedule their spring maintenance appointments. Getting your calendar situated before the busyness of spring hits ensures you can take care of your current customers and your techs will be thoroughly engaged. Now is also the time to promote your maintenance agreement plan  while you’re scheduling your customers. 

2. Promote a Customer Referral Program

We all know the best advertising is word of mouth. If you don’t already have a customer referral program in place, now is the time to create one. If you do have one, promote it with your customers via email, SMS, or during your spring maintenance scheduling phone calls.

3. Focus on Reviews

In today’s world, reviews are critical. Before making a purchase or selecting any type of company to work with, consumers read and depend on reviews. They want to know what other customers think before plunging in themselves. Being sure you have both website reviews (first party) and Google reviews (third party) should be a focus for your business. Though you want to collect reviews all year long, the shoulder season is a convenient time to really push for them.

4. Send an Email Campaign
